Our Focus?
Delivering accurate, early diagnosis of foot conditions that often go unnoticed in aging individuals. Using advanced Computer Vision, our proprietary AI model analyzes thousands of real-world images of foot conditions in seniors, identifying subtle signs of potential issues such as Corn, Callus, fungal infection and other problems before they escalate. This empowers healthcare professionals and family caregivers to detect issues early—enhancing care, preventing complications, and improving quality of life for aging individuals
This groundbreaking solution is the result of extensive training and collaboration with healthcare experts. By feeding our Machine Learning model with a diverse dataset of foot conditions across various stages, we’ve built an AI system that mimics the diagnostic accuracy of skilled healthcare professionals.
What is the AI model?

Why does this matter?
Foot health is critical to the overall well-being of seniors, directly impacting mobility, independence, and quality of life. Our AI technology empowers healthcare providers with actionable insights, enabling them to offer timely, personalized care.
1. Foot Health and Fall Risk: Corns, Calluses, and Foot Pain.
Elderly individuals with foot pain were nearly 2.5 times more likely to experience falls than those without pain.
Falls are the leading cause of injury-related hospital admissions for older adults. According to the CDC, falls cause over 3 million emergency department visits annually for older adults, many of which are linked to preventable foot health issues.
A study in the British Journal of Pain concluded that people with foot pain or conditions like corns were two to four times more likely to experience a fall. These minor deformities can also lead to the development of more serious complications, including infections.
2. Fungal Infections and Infections in General:
Fungal infections (such as nail fungus) are prevalent in older adults, affecting about 10-15% of the population over age 60. If left untreated, these infections can lead to severe dermatological issues and secondary infections (such as cellulitis), which may require hospitalization.
3. Hospital Admissions:
In seniors, foot infections (including fungal, bacterial, or diabetic foot ulcers) are a leading cause of hospitalization, especially in those with comorbidities such as diabetes or vascular disease. According to research in Clinical Infectious Diseases, about 40-60% of older adults with diabetic foot ulcers require hospitalization due to complications from infections.
Hospitalization rates for foot-related issues are also elevated in those with neglected foot care, and early interventions such as regular inspections can reduce the need for emergency care. For instance, in elderly patients with diabetes, a study in The Journal of Diabetes and its Complications found that routine foot examinations can reduce hospitalization rates by 40-50% by catching issues before they progress to severe infections or amputations.
4. Prevention and Health Costs:
Timely detection and intervention can significantly reduce the costs associated with long-term care. For example, early treatment of fungal infections and other foot conditions can lower the need for more expensive treatments like surgeries or hospital stays, reducing the financial burden on healthcare systems.
According to the National Institutes of Health, foot problems in seniors can result in increased health care costs due to frequent doctor visits, treatments, medications, and hospital stays for complications from untreated conditions. Early interventions can reduce the cost burden by up to 40%.
5. Impact of Regular Foot Care:
In clinical practice, regular foot care—including routine assessments for corns, calluses, fungal infections, and diabetic ulcers—can significantly prevent complications. A review published in the Journal of Aging Research found that seniors who undergo regular foot care assessments have a 30-50% lower risk of falls, injuries, and hospital admissions related to foot complications compared to those who do not have such assessments.

How is this Foot Care different from Pedicure
Foot Care is a medical service by a nurse and NOT a spa pedicure.
Appointment focusses NOT on “looking good” but focusses on “healthy feet”.
Foot Care Nurses focus on assessments problems and treatment of nails and feet.
Service is provided by a licensed Nurse.
Unlike spa pedicure, you can expense the invoice with your insurance; as long as you have coverage.

No. you can only book appointment over the mobile app.
Yes. Reebuk Health ensures that we register the Foot Care Nurses only after
verifying their registration and Identity.
The cost of the appointment varies from $60 to $200 depending on the foot
care nurse experience, nurse rating, location of service and the hourly rate
demanded by the Foot Care Nurse.
You could get an appointment as quickly as 24 hours and sometimes it could
take few days. It all depends on your availability and the availability of
the nurses.
It is advisable however not required for PoA (Power of Attorney) or
family member to be present at the time for the appointment. When
booking the appointment, detailed instructions are collected and shared
with the foot care nurse.
Sure. When appointment is booked, you already have a time window given
for the appointment. Please ensure family member is present for the
given time window. The nurse won't wait for the family member. The nurse
has to get started with the appointment as soon as the nurse arrives. If
patient needs 5 to 10 min to prepare and be ready for the appointment
after nurse arrives, then that is acceptable and nurse would give that
10 min time for the patient to be ready for the appointment.
The appointment could take anywhere from 45 min to 1 hour; depending on the feet condition.
You pay with credit card or Apple pay. Only after payment is successful, the appointment is confirmed.

Yes, you could book the appointment at home, Hospital, Reactivation Care Centre/RCC, Long Term Care and Retirement Homes.
The service areas depend on the foot care nurses in your area. Today, the mobile app has several foot care nurses registered in the Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. However we continue to add more foot care nurses across Ontario and across Canada.
The 45-minute to one-hour appointment could includes cutting toenails, treating any corn or callus, thick fungal toenails, and ingrown toenails. However, the service experience from different foot care nurses may be different. All foot care nurses follow the nursing guidelines of their regulatory body.

The mobile app does NOT share your phone number or billing address with the foot care nurse. Only the service address is shared. The service address and billing address may be same at times. Reebuk Health strongly discourages engaging foot care nurses for services outside of the service booked on the mobile app.
Yes you can reschedule or cancel your booked appointment; however there is a small fee to reschedule or cancel appointments with less than 24 hours notice.
You will be notified and asked to rebook appointment if the foot care nurse cancels the appointment. You will not be charged any fee to rebook for the appointment cancelled by the foot care nurse.
